Does appetite return after 1st tri?

I'm normally a pretty healthy eater, but all i've been able to stomach lately are carbs. I feel so gross and exhausted all the time. Will my normal appetite for healthier foods resurface after 1st tri m/s fades? I hope so!

Depends.

In my first pregnancy, by the time the m/s ended around 20 weeks, I was having trouble with heartburn and the bump was making my stomach feel compressed, so I couldn't eat too much.

But, if your m/s ends soon, you should have a few decent weeks in the 2nd tri.

For some it does; others it doesn't!  Great news, eh?!

My m/s didn't end until around 20 weeks with DD and then I would still get nauseous immediately after I ate, so eating didn't seem all that appealing seeing as how I would "pay for it".

Hopefully you do better than me!

i sure hope so. most things make me queasy and when i do eat, its rarely a good balanced meal.

Yes and no with my last pregnancy. I had bad heartburn and indigestion. I couldn't eat as much as I had before during one sitting, but I ate a lot more often. I wouldn't say it goes back to normal, but it was a little easier to eat more well rounded.

There are no hard set rules about it, everyone reacts differently to pregnancy.  I think the norm is that you have it the first tri, but i have heard of people who have it the whole time too.  My last pregnancy I want to say it ended a week or 2 into 2nd tri, but then other fun symptoms kicked in later, 2nd tri was awesome, not many symptoms at all, but 3rd tri was heartburn, constipation, backaches, crazy acne, gestation diabetes, itching EVERYWHERE ALL THE TIME and back pains. So its really a crap shoot, some people get some symptoms, some dont get many at all, some last the whole time and some either dont come at all or only last a month or two.
