Explosive Diarrhea

And yes, I had to add explosive in the name.  I feel like I'm about to die.  I've had the worst case of diarrhea imaginable the past 24 hours and I'm honestly starting to worry on.  On top of that I haven't been able to keep any fluids down.  It's either coming out one end or the other

Anyone else having these issues?   I've been dealing with alot of constipation but not THIS.  Ugh.  And to think I thought I was starting to finally feel better.

Have you called your Dr yet?  With both of these systoms, I would be worried about not keeping enough liquid in...

No...I didn't call yet today.  I guess if it doesn't get better by morning I'll call.

I would definitely call the doctor they might want to put you on an IV in case you are dehydrated and to get some nutrients in you.

I had this happen to me last saturday night. I was so sick for like 24 hours I had to go to the ER to get hydration. I was so dehydrated I could barely move. The drs there told me that once you become really dehydrated its harder to keep things down cause your stomach and intestines are irriated. Be careful. If you start getting dizzy tonight I would suggest to go to the ER to get fluids.

I am kind of going through that but not really... I can't keep stuff down and throw up all the time but I kind wish I had the diarrhea, I haven't pooed in 8 days and I am miserable!!

Thanks for the tips girls.  If it continues to get worse I'll definitly get ahold of the doctor.

There are some horrible stomach virus' going around right now according to a few nurses we've talked to over the last few days.  My husband had exactly what you are having and he needed IV fluids on Saturday.   Now I'm having a variation of what he had and it's not fun.  For the diarrhea they said fluids are really important.  Pregnant women are at a much higher risk for dehydration so you should probably call and let them know your symptoms.

That's what I have been hearing as well, kinda freaks me out.

Well..during the night I was able to keep down some gatorade and water.  I still feel like hell though - but the diarrhea has stopped. 

I'm so ready to feel normal agian!
