Following up to my Saturday morning post, I'm still not sure what is going on. Got a very faint line on Friday evening's IC test, followed by a neg. FRER. Tested Saturday with FMU on IC and a negative. Tested Sunday with FMU and got another faint line.
I'm trying to give it more time before I try the digital test that came in the FRER box, but am now wondering if it is an evap line. Can you get evap lines during the testing timeframe? These lines came up within the 5 minutes.
Gosh, this whole process really messes with your head!
Re: Evap line during testing timeframe?
I know you can get evaporation lines during the testing time frame because this happened to me a lot last cycle. It made me so confused. If I were you, I would just try not to think about it too much over the next couple of days and test again with FMU with a digital. Your situation sounds more promising than mine. Good luck!
Edit: Wanted to add that I always use FRER's and have never had this issue until this past cycle. I must have gotten a wonky box.
Whenever I've used an FRER it's always been accurate (I've never seen a evap line). I have had troubles with others though. Last cycle I swear I saw the faintest of faints on a dollar store, which I suppose could have been a chemical. (I have short LP's)
I did read on peeonastick.com a good reminder though that a positive test isn't going to make you pregnant if your not. I've had too many cycles of driving myself crazy. I think it suggests to put a timer on for 10 mins which I would probably do 5 instead. Then look at it arms length away.
On a side though that I just remembered with my DD I took a dollar store test on Friday with FMU. I could have sworn there was a line, but DH thought I was crazy. Luckily I worked at a dr office so when I got to work and had to go again I took another. Clear BFN. I really assumed I wasn't pg, because if the doctor says so it must be true, right? Well Sunday I was drugged tired so that night I took an FRER just to stop thinking about it. Boy was I shocked when it was a BFP!
Good luck and hope you get your answer sooner rather than later. The wait is so hard!
