So who wants 4?!

I thought by now my desire to have 4 kids would have diminished...but I still feel strongly about having 4 even though number 3 isn't even here yet. Anyone else seeing how 3 goes until they decide they want a 4th? Or others who are having 4 no matter what? Is it a number you have always wanted or do you feel like your family isnt complete. I know my mind may completely change when #3 hits the ground...and you're probably wondering why Iam already thinking that far ahead...Iam a planner and if we are going to have a 4th then I need to replace some baby items that have seen better days...among other things.

Nope! I was SURE I was having a 4th. VERY SURE!

Then #3 came along and we changed our minds. We're done. And DS is my EASIEST baby in terms of temperament.

I've always wanted 4, but DH only wanted 2. We compromised at 3, but unless we won the lottery in the next few months, I'm having my tubes tied so we're officially done!

I go back and forth. I always said I wanted 4 but sometimes when I'm feeling like things are or will be tough I'll say, "ummm, maybe 3 is good," like after DS was born and when I got pregnant with #3 and was a little (OK a lot) scared at the thought of having 3 under 3. But I'm back to wanting 4.

I figure it's going to be tough, but for me anything that's challenging is so rewarding in the end.

I want 4, DH wants 6 (that's not going to happen!)  With that being said if 3 kids my butt I'm done.

We plan to have 3 and then I'll have my tubes tied. We'll see how 3 is and then may decide to adopt a #4 but I will not be birthing 4.

Well, #2 is in the oven, but we are starting with 3 and see if we want to have a 4th or possibly adopt.

I can't even imagine how I will deal with three. No fourth for me. I'm counting every milestone and can't wait to never be pregnant again!

I would love 4, it all depends on how I do with 3 while DH is away for work. I am nervous about that, but who knows if his job will change in the future. I have always had 4 or 5 in my head....DH wants as many as I want...we'll see.

I fear this too...I don't forsee getting that feeling that I am done...I hope it does happen LOL.

I think we'll definitely have a 3rd at some point, and possibly a 4th. I can't say it's a definite, but I wouldn't close the door on it quite yet either. Realistically, I think we'll be done at 3, but who knows?

Three is really kicking my butt but I would LOVE four! DH too. We're in early days still so we will just have to see how we feel in a year.

I always wanted kids, I had my first, than twins and I was planning on waiting but nope. I am pregnant with number four. Since I am only 23 I might have a fifth in five years or so, but for now I am happy and content with four little girls...

We want 6, but not all six will be coming from me!  We are planning on adopting at least one, if not two, so likely I will only be birthing 4.  4 is our absolute minimum though, so we will be having 4 for sure.

 I think about that sometimes, too.  I have c-sections, so that will put a limit on my childbearing years, even if I never feel my family is complete.

I always waffled between 3 and 4, DH was pretty firmly done at 3.  We've had a couple of "oops" scares since #3 was born and it's made me realize I would be really ok with a 4th, but DH is still gun shy.

I always said I wanted 6 and now I just laugh at that thought. I almost feel like I could be done with 2 but I really do want a 3rd. If we do have a 3rd they're going to be more spaced out then the first 2, that's for sure.

We're still cooking #2 so it's a little early to say.  In my fantasy-land, it would be perfect to have 2 boys and 2 girls so they could all know what it's like to have both a brother and a sister.  But, we'll see what happens.  I'm very aware that our minds may change.
