I have "diminished ovarian reserve"
I had my consult with my RE this morning to talk over all my test results. Everything was normal except for my AMH level - which means diminished ovarian reserve. I wasn't expecting that-I was definitely expecting her to say everything is normal and we have unexplained infertility. She doesn't want us to wait too long to take action, so I think we are going to wait a month or two and then try IUI a couple times. If that doesn't work she suggests IVF after that. Of course my insurance doesn't cover any IF treatments but somehow we'll make it work.
I am so glad we didn't wait any longer to go to the RE, but still, not great news this morning.

DX with Diminished Ovarian Reserve - AMH of 1.1 - 7/2011; AMH of .42 8/2012BFP 9/1/10-M/C confirmed 9/8/10-Methotrexate 10/6/10
IUI #1 (w/clomid)-9/5/11-BFN ; IUI #2 (w/clomid)-10/5/11 - BFP - 11/1/12-No sac seen; 11/2/11 and 11/9/11-Methotrexate
IVF #1- ER 2/2; ET 2/5;-Two 8 cell embryos transfered = BFFN
Surprise BFP - 5/7/12
U/S on 6/8/12 - H/B at 128 BPM; U/S on 6/14/12 @ 9wks-No H/B-D&C on 6/17/12
IVF 2.0- ER 10/17; ET 10/20-One 12 cell, one 10 cell and one 8 cell embryo transfered
BFP! 11/16/12 U/S- Two nuggets with perfect heartbeats! EDD 7/10/13

Ugh, I'm sorry. My RE told me the same thing last year. IF really sucks.

If I remember correctly above 2 was normal, 1-2 was low and below 1 was

Was your AMH test run by Quest or by Labcorp? If it was done by Quest, have it redone at Labcorp. My RE said they'd been getting lots of wonky results from Quest so he started having people do the test both places, getting wildly different results, and for the tests they can run in-house, he ran some comparison tests in-house versus Quest. Quest repeatedly had wildly different results from both his lab and Labcorp.
My first AMH was 0.8 and my dx was DOR. Then we had it re-run and it was a 2.
