Leaking left breast and it's GREEN!!!!

WTH!!!  I just noticed my left nipple is leaking a watery fluid that is greenish in color!  Is this normal?  It's my first baby, I'm 22 weeks.  Any thoughts??? TIA

Leaking is normal...the greenish is what would concern me. Colostrum has a yellowish tinge to it, but not green.

Maybe someone else has more insight? If anything, give your OB nurse a call in the a.m.

Believe it or not, this could be normal.  When milk sits in the ducts it can turn a dark greenish to blackish color.  If it's just old milk, there should be very little of it. See if you can hand express anything else out.  It should very quickly change to clear or milky white.  If the green color persists, or you develop any other symptoms (pain, redness, swelling, fever) call your doctor.

Even if it clears up right away, you can always call your doctor in the morning for reassurance.   Guarantee it won't be the weirdest question she's gotten and that's what she's there for

I'm not 100% sure either, but I have read that clear or milky yellowish is ok, anything else isn't...

my mother always had a greenish discharge. She had cyst in her breast and they would leak, causing the greenish discharge. Do you feel lumps? i could mention this to your Dr. Her's were always ok, but she did have to go for bi-yearly checks to make sure everything was still ok. They went away after she went through menopause and had a hysterectomy.
