We might be moving to Denver. My husband works for the airlines. Could someone please suggest a great new area/neighborhood that would be a decent commute to the Airport. Thanks
Stapleton is great, but I do not think it's relatively inexpensive - I think the houses are actually overpriced for the lot sizes that you get. It is an easy commute though. Reunion, Buffalo Run, and neighbors near them are really easy commutes (15 minutes, maybe?), and are newer neighborhoods with larger lots then Stapleton. We looked at a ton of houses in those areas, and I was traveling full time when we were looking - the commute was a huge selling point.
In general, I think the northern side of Denver is an easier commute to the airport, and the northeast is the easiest.
Re: Might be moving to Denver...suggestions on best communities?
I would definitely suggest Stapleton. It's beautiful, safe, and from what I learned relatively inexpensive.
Best of Luck!
