U/S yesterday!

I still haven't had my first doctor's appointment and the wait was killing me. But a friend of mine remembered an ultrasound place nearby that does 3D/4D ultrasounds and gender reveals. They also had a baby reveal package for relatively cheap so we went! It was so much fun and relieving to see LO on the screen. We got to see and hear the heartbeat. They measured the baby 5 times and every single time it came up as 8w6d, just a couple days farther than I had thought. It was so exciting! I now have a nice little dvd of pictures to look at.

So jealous!  I have not had my first U/S yet either and won't for two more weeks.  I was getting desperate so I started to look into the elective 3D/4D places around Chicago.  However, none of them have bookings/packages available before 15 weeks.  What type of package did you get?  Is the place a chain?

No, it's just a random place in southern California. The package was called Baby Reveal. I didn't think they did them either because they strictly do transabdominal ultrasounds and I didn't think it would work that early. They do gender reveals at like 14 weeks.
