Hello! I've lived in Columbus for about half of my life now and I've always gone to my mom's OBGYN and she's been fine...until I got pregnant. We've had a lot of disagreements and I often dread my appointments and I don't always trust what she tells me. So, if you love your doctor I'd love to hear recommendations! I may even switch this pregnancy. Also, with your doctor's name I'd love to know which hospital you are going to deliver at! Thanks!
Re: OBGYN recommendations please!
I go to Dr. Melissa Boyles at Women's Physicians. I definitely recommend the practice. The staff is friendly, easy to schedule appointments. I've found that my doc listens to my concerns, allows me to make decisions, answers all my questions, she's non-judgmental and makes me feel extremely comfortable.
The office is at
(614) 734-3347 - (next to Riverside Hospital) which is where I'll be delivering.
Good Luck!
I love my OBGYN, Dr. Leah Adkins. She's younger, very friendly and up-to-date on the latest practices & research. I was so comfortable with her and she was even there to deliver my LO (which is hard to come by).

I go to Columbus Obsteiricians Gynecologists, Inc. My Dr is Christina or "Tina" as she asks to be called Charles, MD
She is a really amazing Dr very positive which is what we needed after having a MC. I will be delivering at Dublin Methodist Hospital the staff there are amazing too.
Columbus Obstetrics and Gynecology is great! I've been seeing Dr. Mollie Ezzie for a few years now and I LOVE LOVE LOVE her! She delivers at Dublin, too, which is a great hospital for having babies (wouldn't recommend it for anything other than that, though). I've also seen a few other doctors in that practice (Dr. Charles and Dr. Beattie) and found them to be great too.
They don't poo poo any of your concerns or talk down to you. If you call the office with a concern, you have to leave a message, but I've always found them really prompt in calling me back (within a couple hours or so depending on the time of day).
I highly recommend this practice to everyone I talk to.
I go to the Kingsdale group on Lane Avenue in Upper Arlington. I also switched doctors recently and did some asking around to find a good practice. This practice is made up of 6 or so doctors and several of my friends see them. I personally go to Dr. Kimberly Shepherd who is amazing!! She is friendly and seems open to all my questions being a first time mommy. She delivers at Riverside where I will be having our son. Good luck!
I go to Dr. Greco at Kingsdale OB/GYN (two locations UA and Powell) and she's great! Unfortunately, the office isn't that timely but my doctor always takes her time when it is my turn, but my mom has been to many OB's offices and said most of them aren't (you know, the whole delivering babies thing).
That practice delivers at Riverside (where I'll deliver) and OSU!
Good luck!
I go to Specialists in Obstetrics and Gynecology and see Dr. Harmon. I LOVE HIM!!! I would highly recommend switching mid pregnancy. I didnt with DD1 and regretted it later. Knowing what i do now i always recommend switching when this question comes up. If you arent comfortable with her now - just wait until you are delivering.. and then you have all the recover apts too. . it just isnt worth staying there over.
Dr. Harmon is awesome (and has tiny hands which creepily... really does make a difference lol) He delivers at Dublin (yay) and Riverside - he has 4 daughters and understands. He is just a sweetheart but wicked smart too. Someone recommended to me - to call Labor and Delivery at a hospital and ask them for OB recs... they all love him when i called at Dublin and Riverside! (and didnt like my previous OB either!)
