Does this happen to anyone else? Whenever I eat, I get really full, really quickly. Then of course, I'm hungry soon after. Just wondering if anyone else experiences this!

Yes! I have noticed that same thing. Portions I normally would eat leave me stuffed half-way through. I've started kind of breaking up my meals into smaller meal during the day because I know I will be hungry again soon. Guess the LO is taking up some of the space where the food normally goes!

I'm having the same problem too..... I'll be starving and then can barely eat half of my meal. 30 minutes later I'm starving again. I guess I'm gonna just have to start eating little bits throughout the day.
I definitely have this problem. I feel so hungry all the time, and then am full so quickly. Like PPs, I just have to eat many more meals that are smaller.
Our scale is really unreliable, so I don't bother to use it. I'm so ready for my 2nd appt so I can get a good idea of how my weight gain is going. I can't tell if I'm gaining a ton because I eat so much more often, or a reasonable amount because I eat small quantities and I eat fairly healthy foods.
My NP warned me about this at my last appointment. She said it is because your stomach's emptying time slows down when you're pregnant. Smaller, more frequent meals is key!

Yep, having the exact same problem. And I find that if I eat too much, I feel sick for a really long time. Kind of like at thanks giving dinner when you eat too much turkey and have to lay down and just digest. But the slow digesting is really annoying, bloat galore! Its so hard to get used to your metabolism slowing down to a halt!

I have the same problem...only, mine started before pregnancy. I have gastroparesis, so my food basically hangs out in my stomach for hours before it moves on--which is not good, it should exit the stomach in under an hour. I spoke with my MFM about it on Friday because pregnancy is making it worse for me; I'm now throwing up after I eat because it's so painful. She said the GI system becomes very relaxed as a result of all the hormones..but, the second tri brings hope!
Yeah, I'm starting to get better about stopping and eating more slowly. If I eat too much my whole abdomen aches and I feel like I'm going to hurl. I'm noticing it more and more now. I think baby is starting to take up more and more room!

Same here. I get full very quickly and then if I make the mistake of continuing to eat despite being full ( which I tend to do if it is something I really like) I feel sick immediately after. I have started the small snacks throughout the day thing.
