Any one else find it hard to...

buy things for themselves?  It is mine and DH's anniversary tomorrow and all I told him I wanted was fabric (2 year anv. is cotton) to make LO CD's and some other things for my older kids.  I spent most of my b-day money on stuff for my kids too.  I have such a hard time buying myself clothes but I have no problem spending on my kids who don't need anything.  I know this is just being a mother, but I wanted to make sure I am not the only one.

I always end up getting things for the kids. For my last birthday I wanted GC to get clothes for PP, but MH was tired of me always spending my money on other things then myself. It was my 30th and I got a clock I wanted for the house. I got a new watch and he gave me diamond studs. with money I bought some pants and a couple of tops. I did though buy a baby food book for DD.

I don't buy too much for myself. I hate spending money on things that are just for me. I'd rather get stuff for DS or for the family. DH and I decided that we wouldn't exchange gifts for our anniversary. Instead we each bought a journal on our first anniversary and each year we write each other a love letter and we go out to a nice dinner at the restaurant where we had our rehearsal dinner. The only things we buy each other gifts for are birthdays, Christmas and something small for Mothers/Fathers day "from DS."

I am totally guilty of this. In fact, just yesterday I spent over half of my GC that I got for my birthday on K and just $3 of it on me. Needless to say I have some $$ left over, so I might just get myself something, but it's doubtful. lol I just love spoiling my baby too much!

I rarely buy anything for myself. With a house and 3 kids I feel totally guilty, even if it's just an outfit. Couldn't even tell you last time I got my hair done or a pedi! When I get gifts for holidays my mother always gets them for places where I can only get stuff for myself, lol.

I do the same thing. I enjoy buying for DS and DH more than myself. I got fabric too for my 2nd anniversary! I still need to sew the outfit though.

Yep, I asked for a ring sling for my birthday.  My mom (who still buys me bday presents lol) keeps telling me she wants to buy something for me, to which I keep saying, but I will be the one wearing it!  Haha.
