Ds is covered in hives

And we have no idea why. It started as eczema on his face the beginning of the week and has now become full body hives. The only thing that's different is we used California Baby Super Sensitive wash but haven't used it since Thursday and it keeps getting worse. Any brilliant ideas or suggestions on how to treat?

A cool bath--plain lukewarm water, no soaps, suds. Some benadryl or zyrtec. If he is super itchy, some benadryl itch cream or hydrocortisone. Dress him in light, loose clothes. Poor lil guy! Sounds like he is reacting to something or it may just be viral. Hope he feels better.

Benedryl will help with the itching/swelling.  I have had some recent skin reactions and my dermatologist recommended Sarna lotion.  It is very soothing..menthol like and helped my rash.  YOu can get it in the first aid section of the drug store.  It comes is a lotion pump type container.
