Help finding daycare in greater Annapolis area, please!

DH and I are in need of daycare part time for our LO beginning in late February.  Some friends have mentioned that we are a little behind as spots fill up quickly.

I am having trouble finding places via internet searching, specifically in home centers.  Any recommondations or tips for searching would be greatly appreciated.  I am thinking in home will be better for us since they may be more flexible with us only needing part time care.  The only place I have checked with is Kindercare and they do not have an opening.

Again, any searching tips or recommendations would be great.  Thanks!

  • Try mdchildcare.org, it lists licensed providers in the area And fwiw, you really aren't behind, at 22 weeks no one is really going to hold a spot, you would probably just go on a waiting list at a center. The in homes I called when I was 33 weeks told me they might have openings, but to call them either right before my LO was born or right after. Most places won't hold spots for months, they would be put of potential income, don't stress about it too much.
