Logan - too popular?

Logan is at the top of our list but I'm not a fan of really popular names. I don't like to use the top 10 names. It's #17 but I seem to be hearing it a lot lately and I don't know if that's because I'm paying more attention or because it's become more popular. DD is Alexis which is ranked about the same but I don't hear it as often.

My guess is 17th and climbing! I know 4 all under the age of one.

I know three babies born this year named Logan. I think it is growing in popularity, but if you love it then go for it.

The only Logan I know is in high school.  Go for it if you like it, but if you have hesitations, maybe you and your DH could try to think of another one you like as a backup.

I know a few under 3, so yes, I think it is popular.

If you like it, then use it. I think both of my kids' names are just over the 100 spot but I've still never met anyone IRL with their names. I love them.

I love it too, obviously. I actually don't think it is too popular, but then again, my other son's name is Jacob.

We just came across our first other Logan this year in my son's preschool class. Up until then, we didn't know any other kids with the name. 

If you really love the name, I say go for it.
