I'm giving you your official warning. If you don't like it here, leave. No one is forcing you to stay. It is not snark or harsh, it is fact. No one said "The Bump is the only pregnancy forum site, and if you don't like it, you have to change it to be what you want." We like our ways. There are MANY sites that could be a fit for you. Go fvcking find one. Go do your Shettles and get your "ovulation" tickers. Go tell everyone that midcycle spotting is due to implantation and 29+ day cycles are "long." Go make your own happy place. But don't do it here. This isn't that type of board. We promote knowing your body, the facts, and the chances. We will educate you if you will listen, and if you resist, that if your choice, and your choice alone.
Also, Google is your friend. As is the newbie link at the top of this board.
Good day.
Re: Hiya newbies!! Some advice from an old reg
Nice!
written by someone who is clearly bitter. responded to by others who are clearly bitter.
Newbies: when you get to the 1st tri or your month board it's not like this. rest assured these b*tches will probably still be on this board attempting to be the ttgp police when you move on.

Hi! Newbie here. The newbie link at the top of the page is great. I really liked the newbie post posted by missmusic a little bit ago too. ------->

Everyone has been very patient here with loads of info! Appreciate it.
I am a NEWB and I am not bitter...just understand the tone and purpose of the board. BIG DIFFERENCE.

And yes, I will probably still be here, unfortunately. I have no desire to be the TTGP police if/when I move on, but for now I am here to dole out some advice to newbs that don't like the way things are done here.
Let me guess... kiwifuzz?

This. And if you don't bother to lurk and find out whether or not this board is the right fit for you -- before posting a question that's been answered a million times before, telling us all we're horrible people, and GBCB -- then you're a fvcktard and deserving of some snark.
Severe MFI. Me: supposedly all clear but eggs showed vacuoles.

Much love to all of my magical ladies.
It's so sad that this post was practically NECESSARY after the past few days, however it was very well put!!
It's also sad that a lot of the newbs can't understand humor. Their loss, they won't be missed.
I am admittedly full of AE conspiracy theories, most of which I've been trying to keep to myself, but I was wondering this as well.
Why are you being soo mean, you need to change right now!!
JK!!

Very well put. (I'm adding to the standing Ovation from a couple PP, YAY the wave
) I am new and have not had an issue. I love this board, some much good information to pull from. If you get to know them through lurking and do your research (search for topics already discussed, and use google) before posting, then there shouldn't be an issue. I can definitely understand the frustration of having to repeat things over and over again (taught kindergarten and grade one...lots of repeating). Good luck to everyone TTC
I'm still pretty new here, and that was well said!
IVF #1 with ICSI - ER 1/20 (16R, 12M, 10F), ET 1/23 (1-10 cell and 1-8cell transferred), BFP on 1/31 Beta #1 on 2/3 = 68, Beta #2 on 2/6 = 261 EDD 10/12/12
Thank you. I'm a newbie who recently made an intro & I've been trying to post more where I can. I love this board (& TB in general), I've learned a lot about fertility, pregnancy, etc. I don't understand the need to tell someone off through the internet. When I see these "you're so mean, GBCB" posts, my first thought is "who the eff cares?" It's TB, it's meant to inform....everything else is really not that big of a deal.
So, thank you. Well put.
BP you rock!! Always love your blunt honesty!

Well said.
Man I miss this board! It's been a long time ladies. Hope all is well.

Bravo!
HI BBJ!
Hi Kathy! How are you love? I tried to click your chat link on 3T the other day, but it wasn't working for me. It would let me in, but wouldn't let me type anything.
Yeah- Chatzy has been pretty odd lately. I wish Gabbly would stop sucking! I'm doing ok- just a little bored, but good otherwise! Thanks for asking.
You know, I don't post here often, so I guess I'd be considered a newbie... But it's really not about whether you're new or not. It's about whether you are intelligently trying to find out information, or if you are a complete idiot.
Frankly, I like this board BECAUSE of the honesty.
