Help me pick LOs birthday- 11/30/11 or 12/1/11 [CPoll]

It's time to schedule our 3rd c/s (OBs in our area won't attempt VBAC for repeat c/s #3) and pick LOs birthday!  I know "it doesn't really matter" (to those of you who are always prone to say that to these posts) so feel free not to respond.  But I need to pick one (I like both doctors scheduled those days), so if you feel like helping, clicky poll is below

 Also, I would love to hear from those of you with Thanksgiving/Early December children.  Is it hard to make birthdays special during that hectic holiday time?  What do you do?  Do you find it hard to get friends to come to birthday parties during that time?

I voted Dec 1st - I like the birthstone better. DD is a November birthday and I hate the yellow stone.

You're right... now that you mention it.  Thanksgiving can only be Nov. 22-28, since it must be on the 4th Thursday (and a week has 7 days)... If Nov 30 is a Thurs, it would be the 5th Thurs.

I have some insight for you becasue my ds is a November 30 birthday boy.  I say just do December 1.  Really it doesn't make a huge difference. But with thanksgiving weekend I never have ds's birthday party that weekend of his birthday becasue no one is ever around.  It always gets pushed to the following weekend. It depends on when the day falls. But my ds always has his party the first weekend of December.  So I say you should just do December 1. But one day isn't a big deal.

 Thanks for the insight!  ITA, not a big deal and if baby came on its own I wouldn't care when it comes... but if you had to pick one to schedule the c/s, it is helpful to know you'd pick 12/1

My dh's birthday is 11/30 and we always celebrate his birthday while the family is all together on Thanksgiving.  I realize my dh is an adult, but he doesn't seem bothered in the least about the date.
