Arthur James or Caspian August?

Hi,

We really need your help! We don't have that much time left and we can't decide on our boy's name. I've always loved the name Arthur, but now I think it sounds a bit common, especially with James. So suggestions for a middle name that goes with Arthur are welcome! Do you think Arthur James is a bit boring?

And what about Caspian August, I just love that name, it just has the WOW-effect for me. But by this one I'm wondering if it's too weird? And which name, in your opinion, matches Christopher, the brother to be, the best?

How about August James? I don't like Caspian, and even though I normally like old-fashioned names, not fond of Arthur.

I was thinking the same thing. Love August James! However, if I had to choose between your two choices, it would be Arthur James.

I like August James best too.  Caspian August is second.  Arthur is too "old man".

I kind of like them both. If you want a little more pizzazz with Arthur, how about Arthur Caspian?

Arthur fits better with Christopher. I also like August and James with Christopher too!

I jut had to come in here and compliment you. I love your naming style. In my opinion you cant go wrong with either name. I LOVE August for a boy, though I am curious if you're using new world (ah-gust) or old world (ah-gOOse-t) pronunciation on it.

I voted for Caspian, and Im surprised at how well it is doing! But I love them all. Arthur James takes me right into Camelot which I love (Thats the origin for Emrys, my chosen girls name) and Caspian is just so colonial to me.

Arthur August goes well for me. I love Augustus, and am hoping it will grow on DH. Caspian is NMS although Casper is kinda cute.

Caspian and August are both on my favourites list.  I don't love them together, but I do really love both names!

My combinations for the names are Caspian Henry and Lachlan August.
