I wanted to introduce myself over here. I post on Jan. 2012 more than anything and I used to post of 3T occasionally. I'm not as frequent as I'd like to be or should be. But I'm super friendly and I don't start drama (or feed into it). Hope you don't mind if I comment every once in a while! You all seem like lovely ladies! Happy Friday!
Re: I lurk way more than I post but...
Thank you! Yes, we really had that many IUI's. It's hard to believe because it was all a blur! DH didnt have any numbers issues (it was actually suggested he be a donor) and our RE honestly believed moving on to IVF wasn't for us.The IUI's were actually optional. He said it was like a numbers game. Once I ovulated, it was just a matter of time. And I guess it was. He said that because I didn't ovulate until given meds., it was like re-setting the "it takes most couples a year" clock. So thats what we gave it. And it took one long year.
Mentally, I was at the end of my rope and physically too. I gained about 10 pounds from the injections and femera and just worrying that I was excercising too much. My DH was so supportive. I would have never made it through without him. The last cycle I was so distracted with New York State testing in my classroom and moving to a new school that I didn't give it much thought. Maybe the distraction helped.
I wish you all the best. I have a Bravelle voucher if you or anyone over in 3T needs it as well!
