I've started making myself dresses. Here is my first maxi dress. I love them because I don't have to shave my legs! Yay for being a lazy mama. On that note, please ignore the mess!
It's gorgeous
I love that fabric, too. I've been debating getting some just to make a jersey scarf out of. I love jersey/knit scarfs for summer nights/fall (cool west coast weather.)
It's gorgeous! I was just thinking this morning how much I wanted a V-neck maxi dress, for the sole purpose of skipping shaves more often. I could never make one myself though!

Obviously the mess must be outside of the picture. The dress is too cute! I wish I had the patients to sew clothing.
I was really confused for a minute after reading this. I was imagining you as a crazy task master who takes advantage of patients who are hospitalized for long periods.

I have some jersey material coming my way for the sole purpose of making dresses/skirts so I can avoid pants. I plan on at least 2 maxi skirts because my skin is super freakishly sensitive when I'm pg and shaving hurts.

I wish I could just throw on a dress some days. But I would have to shave, because long dress would make me look even shorter and I barely hit 5' as it is. Also, the thought of my thighs rubbing together makes me cringe. I better lose the extra weight before I get knocked up again.

Re: NCDR: It's hot and I hate pants so...
That's a mess?
Love it! Did you use a pattern?
I like that fabric! And yay for not shaving. I last shaved before we went on vacation :P
Thanks mama! I used a Simplicity pattern (2580) although I tweaked it. Smaller waist, bigger hips, sleevless.

Pretty! Great job!

Love the dress! It's so pretty and I bet it looks great on! And huge bonus being able to nurse in it. Isn't it funny how that becomes such a big deal?
Also, I agree with PPs, that is not a mess
I love it! I love that fabric & have been eyeing it for a while.
Also, that is definitely not a mess.

I keep looking at the picture hoping that the mess will pop out to me... <side eye and raised eyebrow>

I only torture my daughter with my amateur sewing skills. That dress is awesome.
Love it!
I need to learn to sew.
