I got an email that all Borders are now closing.  They were hoping to just do big cuts and be able to survive.

Am I the only one that feels like I'm losing a friend.  We use to love to go to Borders and just drink coffee....yeah, we are old like that.  Sniff.

     We used to do the same and now I feel guilty because even though we went there regularly we purchased most of our books from Amazon. My book purchases are considerable and I used to browse at Borders and then buy elsewhere. I'm now going to support other brick-and-mortar bookstores by not purchasing all my books online.
