Wrap question

I'm not on TBW, so I have a wrap question I am posting here. The only woven I have experience with is my Ellaroo. Is this wrap narrower than others? I'm trying different back carries, and even with 20+ times practicing, there is never very much fabric to make a pocket under LO's butt. I have the fabric starting at the nape of his neck and smooth down to his butt, where the fabric is gathered and I tuck it under...only there is not much to tuck compared to wraps I have seen on videos. So...more practice, or do I need another wrap for back carries?
