J - don't feel bad that Emily's still in a sleepsack. Liam slept in them until he turned 3! He was busting out of the XL soooo bad, but I really didn't want to buy the "big kid" kind LOL. He was so attached to it, it seemed a silly battle to pick. When we transitioned him to his big kid bed, I just quietly put the sleepsack away and made a big deal about his new Thomas bedspread. He asked about it once or twice, but really never looked back. He was so proud and excited about his new big boy bed I don't think he ever really realized he had given up the sleepsack.

Haha, yes I looked into the 'big kid' sleep sacks but just cannot bring myself to get one! It's like 1 step away from a snuggie! She's going to have to learn to use a real blanket soon!
Thanks for sharing your experience about transitioning Liam. I know that the sleep sack will go away when she goes to her 'big girl bed.' I'm hoping that if she's a part of picking out the bedding & we make it a big deal, she'll just go along with it. Now when will we do that, no idea, I'm in no hurry! She's happy in her crib & so am I!
