4 Month Checkup

DS is still a little peanut. He weights 12lbs 6.5oz and is 24.5 inches long. He is in the 10% percentile for weight and 25% for length and head size. I wish he was bigger but the peditrician was happy that he still is growing at a good rate and if you look at gestational age he'd be in the 25% percentile for a 3 month old baby and she pointed out that I am a small person myself (5'3" and maybe 110lbs). He didn't nap well today so i was worried he'd be out of it but he was flirting up a storm, chatting, smiling and moving all around. He screamed for his shots itself but got over it immedietly when I picked him up and fell promptly asleep once the car started moving. He cries more over absolutely nothing than he did the shots. I wish he wasn't always going to be the littlest guy around since I remember getting picked on for being a scrawny kid and so did DH =(   (actually Dane Fife used to steal DH's lunch money, now he is a nice guy and assistant head coach at MSU so he should pay us back with basketball tickets)

DD went for her 4 month check up yesterday, she was 12 lb 14 oz. Which is about 25th percentile  and she was 3rd when she was born, so she is gaining good.  She also is 24 3/4 inches, so she has grown exactly 6 inches since birth, so she is taller and skinny!

She didn't get upset for more than 30 secs when she got her shots, but she slept all day long, and was really fussy when she would wake up.
