I don't like it. It's far too unisex for my taste (and I like Morgan for a girl). There's nothing about that name that indicates the sex. Anyway, I don't like Finney, either. It's just all around blah for me.
Well I guess I'm a big fat YAY! Because my Daughters name is Finley. Finley Belle. But we can her Fin, and I hate Finney- family tried to use this as her NN and I stopped it before she was born. Cause I'm not a fan. And I love Sage and wanted it for our middle name this time if we have a girl. But DH isnt a fan.

Re: Finley Sage
I don't see the point of that nn. The name is nms but it could be worse.

Finney as a nn for Finley?? That's like the girl (yesterday?) who was naming her girl Elle, nn Ellie "for short". (Sorry if you are reading this!)
Also, Finney reminds me of Albert Finney (Annie, Big Fish).
Also, I'm not crazy about the name Finley, unless there is Irish blood somewhere in the family.
It sounds like an ingredient in a Barefoot Contessa recipe.

Me too. The only Finley I know is a boy, but I was guessing Sage put it in girl territory. I don't like the nn Finney.
OMG yes! Stephen is going to love it!
Finley nn Finney is just so silly there are no words. I like Sage as a MN.
Francesca Pearl is here! Josephine Hope is almost 3!
