I have a 2003 Honda Odyssey. Right now, my 2.5 year old is in the way back in. I was planning on putting the boys in the two captains chairs, but after putting the seats in today realized that it wouldn't work. I suppose I can move one seat to the middle slot and have the end open so DD can get to her seat. I just don't know how I'm going to get back there to buckle her. The thought of getting an infant car seat into the way back makes me want to cry. I bought the minivan so I wouldn't have to kill my back! Am I being unrealistic? I'm gonna kill my back no matter what, aren't I?
Tell me how you did your set up?
Re: Honda Odyssey Car Seat Configuration with toddler and twins
We only have twins but we have ours in the driver's side captian chair and the middle "jump seat". (We removed the passenger side captain chair.) The configuration lets anyone easily get to the 3rd row without tripping over tethers. I'd think the same set up might be your best bet, too. Once our 2 go FF next yr we'll probably take out the middle jump seat and have the LOs in the 2 captains chairs.
ETA: Ours is a 2011
I have 2.5yr old in back and twins in middle captains chair. We moved one to the middle slot so it's easier to reach in the back. I can reach DD and buckle her w/ out climbing in.
I have a 2010 and I don't think the jump seat is approved for a carseat, although I believe the 2011 is (in response to pp).
