BOMB check in

Hi ladies!

Sorry I've been slacking on the checks it's been a heckuva week.  I will tell you that all of this exercise makes a girl TIRED.  And HUNGRY.  So hungry.

My goal for going to bed early has been very successful, but I feel like I am not "caught up" on emails, fb, or the nest, but really, what is more important?

I earned THIRTY FIVE activity points this week!   An dI ate every single one of them.  All healthy food though.  We'll see how it pans out at weigh in.

So since I started bootcamp and regularly doing my bootcamp homework, I am HUNGRY.   I'm a nighttime snacker and I have been resisting that.  And I mean hungry like NOT hungry for veggies and fruit- I want crackers, bread, cheese, total carb fix.  Something that's made me feel like I've actually eaten something.  Last night in bed I was literally tearing up because I was so hungry (I know, drama queen, right?).  Any tips on dealing with that?  I don't think the answer is to eat more- I think I'm just going to have to deal with being hungry for a while.  Super sad face.

I think I was eating such huge amounts of food before and not even realising it.  *sigh*

I'll update after I weigh!  Happy Friday!!

  • Good morning!!!!

I'm having a good week.  Didn't do a good job of pre-planning this week but still pretty much stayed on track.

H - I know you love cheese, so how about a string cheese for a snack when the hungries hit in the evening.  No prep, low calorie, a good boost of protein and (to me) yummy.  I like to combine one with a sliced cold green apple and call it my fruit and cheese platter :)  Its no brie and sourdough, but it usually works in a pinch.  And you might want to tell your WW leader that you're still feeling hungry and have her look at your food logs - maybe she'll have some suggestions for things that will be more filling.

My number one goal this weekend is to get to the farmers' market and stock up.  Now that it is finally heating up I can't wait to get my hands on ripe and delicious summer fruit!

  • I agree with L. You need more protein. It will take longer for your body to process and help with building all those muscles. So, eat the fruits and veggies, but throw in some cheese and some lean meat. I think you'll start feeling much more full.

As far as things are going for me. Eh, not so hot. I haven't been trying to do WW. I haven't been to a meeting in two weeks because I just don't want to get on the scale. I'm feeling completely defeated and overwhelmed (with life in general, not just weight loss, but more so with weight loss). I'm thinking about canceling WW because if I'm not going to do the program, then why am I going to spend the money?

On a positive note, I did go for a walk last night after the kids were in bed. Then when T was awake at 5:30 this morning and didn't want to go back to sleep, I loaded him into the stroller and we went for a walk. So, I'm trying to get back to it and hope that some exercise helps me to feel better.

  • I still haven't made it back to the gym. I told myself I was going to go back this week but that didn't happen. So next week I'm going no matter what. I haven't lost any more weight but I haven't gained any either.
I'm never any help when it comes to food.

  • Happy Friday! I should work on getting more sleep as well. I am so very tired. I missed ww on my reg day so I am going today as well. The evening munchies are an issue for me as well. No fun.
