Hi everyone. Here's the scoop - almost 4 months ago, my husband and I lost our baby boy at 22weeks. He was born stillborn. We still have no idea what happened, but his lil heart stopped beating. We have just started trying again, and I'm not pregnant, but I've been doing a lot of thinking. We named our baby Austin Joseph. For the next one, if it's a boy again, I'd like to incorporate Austin as the middle name. The problem is, I can't think of any first names that go well with Austin. Other names that I like are Cooper, Avery, Dylan, and Tristian. None of those sound good with Austin as the middle name. Any suggestions?? I know I have plenty of time to worry about it seeing as I'm not pregnant yet, but I'm just thinking ahead.
Thanks everyone. It has been really tough, and I think I'm focusing on this naming thing as a way to distract myself.
Funny you mention Noah - as that was one that I was considering. I will add it to the list
Cooper Austin does sound the best out of the ones I mentioned. If only I can get hubby to agree. We considered Cooper when naming Austin, but my husband was turned off by the fact that it rhymed with pooper........I know, I know......he's like dealing with a 5yr old sometimes. I think Cooper is an adorable name.
David is my father's name, and Thomas is hubby's father's name, so can't use either of those. I'm not really into traditional names like Thomas and James, although I agree that they sound good with Austin. BUT I don't like really unique names either. uggghhh.....I know I'm stressing way too much about this, but I just feel like I need something happy to focus on. Thanks for the suggestions, and please keep them coming
Re: First name to go with Austin....
I think classic manly names go well with Austin:
James Austin
Thomas Austin
etc.
I am so sorry for you loss!
I agree with PP, Cooper Austin sounds nice.
