Sippy cups - for how long?

How old was your child when you stopped using sippy cups?  Did you only use real open cups or straw cups after then? 

Both my kids still drink their morning milk out of them (5 and 2.5 years old).  At lunch and dinner they drink out of regular cups though.

Gavin still uses one for milk in the mornings in the car and sometimes just around the house.  He uses a regular cup the rest of the time.  I don't plan to stop using the sippy in the car for a LONG time :-)

We use straw cups at home, sippies in the car, and he uses regular cup at school. He refueses to drink from a regular cup at home so we use straw cups (mostly those take and toss ones)

Both boys use sippy cups in the car and if they want some water at bed time, it's in a sippy cup.  The rest of the time they drink from a regular cup.

E uses a sippy in the car. He has been using a regular cup since 18 months.

We just moved Mia to all straws or open cups - 18 months.

We've been all open cups here since 2 years old for both kids - except we use our Thermos straw cups in the car or when we go to the pool, etc.

At meals we use regular cups.  Other times and places we use straw cups or sippys.

Both Carter and Ava still use them.  But it also depends on whre we are in the house.  In the kitchen, sitting at a table...regular cup.  Anywhere else in the house, they use a sippy.  Keeps me from going bonkers cleaning up spills.

yeah... I don't trust Camila with an open container. I love the cups with the cap that has the spill proof, but don't have that extra piece. Those and the cups with the straws.
