I'm talking anything here, from a crazy dare to jumping out of airplanes, or whatever!
I'm not much of a "thrill seeker", so I like to hear other's stories! I'm looking at my mom's pics of when her and her H went white water rafting over the weekend, and I'm a little jealous I can't do that or ride roller coasters right now lol. That's as far as my crazy goes, so...
Let's hear it!
Re: What's the craziest thing you've ever done?
What I did is incredibly stupid..but when I was 19 I got on a crotchrocket with a guy I liked and we went on the interstate with no helmets on...going about 100 mph.
Someone was looking out for me that night.
The craziest thing I ever did will NOT be mentioned on here...LOL...but, this is the second craziest thing I did:
I rode the Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point. It goes 420 feet high and travels at a speed of 120 mph. Let's just say I almost peed myself.

I did the Sling Shot that is on International Drive (I think) in Orlando, FL. Basically you are strapped in this two seat contraption, pulled down into the earth and flung straight up. I had a video camera in my face the entire time to capture the experience.. needless to say there were a lot of 'F' bombs. I had to sign my life away to go on it.
I went swimming in one of Rome's many fountains... I didn't get caught, either! It was late at night with a guy I met while backpacking in college. VERY fun time! I noticed last summer when I went that the Trevi fountain is guarded now... Probably because of people like me!
I went to a nude beach and stripped down to nothing when I was over there, too, but I don't really consider that "crazy" because other people were naked, too. It was actually kindof a non-event!

Dear God, Since I couldn't hold my little one in my lap and tell him about you, could you hold him in your lap and tell him about me?
PgAL and PAL always welcome...I've totally done this! What an experience.
This is on my bucket list! Has been ever since a calculus project where we had to build our own roller coaster.. this was my inspiration!

Yes! I miss it this year. After going once, I am now addicted!
The sling shot thing you rode looks CRAZY! OMG.
I use to be petrified of roller coasters. When I was 5 my mom guilted me to ride The Ninja at Six Flags which is a rough roller coaster and definitely not for little kids. I cried throughout the entire ride and of course--it was storming while we rode--we had some punk behind me whisper really loud to his buddy about how he hopes we don't slip off the track. I was terrified. I didn't ride another roller coaster until I was 15.
When I was 15 we rode a bunch of rides and I had a blast but of course we had to run into problems. I rode a new ride called Acrophobia. It was the last ride of the night since the park was about to close. The group after us was the last group to go. We went HIIIIIGH up in the air and then they tilted us out so we could face the ground and he started to count down. Since we had seen how he had done it before we knew at around 7 he would drop us. Well he kept going after 7. Once he got to 5 he said they were having technical difficulties so just to enjoy the view. PLEASE. We saw like 5 emergency cars and 2 ambulances come flying up--all while listening to the crowd below us chant Let them drop! Let them die! It was terrifying.
The point of my story is that the craziest thing I've ever done is that I still get on that ride whenever I go. The ride looks like this, we go this high up.
I crawled on top of an ex friend's car and peed on it while it was parked under his carport at about 10 at night while another friend watched about about peed herself laughing while I did it. I had to strip out of my jumper and crawl naked on top of the car in my high heeled booties. I also peed in our crazy neighbor's garden fountain in their landscaping one night.. Sounds like I like to pee on things, doesn't it?? LOL I guess those are more spiteful than crazy. They both deserved it though!
I'm a thrill seeker, so I'll do just about anything that sounds crazy at least once, especially rollercoasters!
The craziest thing I've ever done isn't so much a thrill seeking thing. During my summers at college I used to travel and go to different youth camps with a drama team to promote my school. At one camp I met a guy and didn't really think anything of it.
A year later we randomly started talking and I ended up transferring to his school for my senior year of college. It was halfway across the country! I'm so thankful that I made this decision because that chance encounter became my wonderful husband.
Ziplining in Costa Rica. We were so high off the ground!

This was the view in front of us (my pic):

I've done this with my high school sweetheart (who is now my DH) many times back in the day. It was our 'go to' place when we couldn't find anywhere else! Kinda gross from a mothers perspective now! lol

I got engaged after four months of dating.....
But on the more daring note, I went skinny dipping in a public lake and at the beach. Streaking and mooning people. I notice a lot of mine had a lot to do with taking my clothes off and all but the getting engaged had A LOT to do with alcohol.
Here is hoping that my kids don't take after me in that way.

Mine might not count because I wasn't intending on being crazy at the time. On our honeymoon, DH and I went on a "beach-hopping" tour where we went swimming and snorkeling at all these different beaches in Los Cabos. We got to "divorce beach" which is on the Pacific side of the peninsula and I said I wanted to let te tide go over my feet. Well, it went a little farther than that. A huge wave swept behind me going up to my waist. DH fell over (intentionally I learned) to anchor me down and our guide came running.
DH and I flew to Europe for 3 weeks in college with a backpack, basic layout of where we wanted to go and a eurorail pass. That was it! No hotels or flights planned out- just me and him, 4 countries, a crap ton of museums, and a camera! It was awesome.
Maybe not "crazy"- but it's the closest thing I got! haha
I went skydiving with my younger brother on the day that DS turned 9 wks old. LOVED IT....would love to do it again
eta: here are some pics
about to jump out of the plane--I was freaking out!
free-falling!!
When I was younger, around 15 or 16, I would say the craziest thing I did was organize a ski trip for the entire photo club at my high-school and conveniently tell them I was sick the day before. Then when my parents thought I was on a school trip me, my future first boyfriend, my best friend her boyfriend hopped on a greyhound from LA to San Francisco and spent a 3 day weekend exploring the city. I only had $50 to spend the entire weekend. ^^ It was one of the best trips of my life.
As an adult I would say moving to a country where I did not know the language was possibly the smartest and craziest thing I ever did.
I am so scared of heights I think I peed myself just looking at this... You all are crazy brave!
And WOW, I lead I really dull life compared to some of you!!
That's awesome! My H's family lives in Orlando and every time we drive by that, I am like "No, Hell No".
I like roller coasters in general, but I have not done (and not sure I would do) the Cedar Point one, wow.
H and I have done Class IV white water rafting....it was cold, but exhilarating (except when we flipped and I got sucked under water and then popped back up under the raft, which totally freaked me for a minuted a I sucked in a bunch of water.....good times). I also went backpacking for 11 days on the Appalacian Trail with a group of friends when I was in high school. VERY awesome experience that made me appreciate indoor plumbing in a whole new way!
