I've started to look at convertible seats and am really like the Recaro ProRide, but don't know anyone that has one. Does anyone have one? Thought/Opinions?
Butting in from 6-9.....I just got the Recaro ProRide as our second (our first is the Britax Boulevard) and I like it 10x more than Britax, although it's just out of the box and not installed yet. Easier to adjust the harness height, and I love the lil' pockets to put the harness pieces in to get them out of the way while you're putting LO in. Is less wide than the Britax, but looks just as big in every other way.
DH and I have one in both of our cars, and we love them. Of course, I don't have anything to compare them to since those are the only convertible seats I have experience with. But they're sturdy and easy to use. Plus, Recaro has had very few car seat recalls, and I've always trusted their products in race cars.
We have one in my car and she has been in it since she was 6 months. We love it. It is easy to get in and out of the car (for when we do put it in my mom's car) and it is easily adjustable. She seems comfy in it and has lots of room to grow with it, too.
