Anyone send their little ones here? Thinking about taking a part time teaching position and it would mean moving both my girls here so they would be at work with me. Wondering about the program (both the nursery drop off and the separate preschool with the Reggio classrooms).
Re: Peachtree Presbyterian Preschool
I have friends who go there and love it.
I didn't know it was Reggio, and we don't go there, but my son does go to a Reggio school (APP) and we love, love, love it. We love the philosophies and the teaching and just everything about it.
Merritt just finished her first year there and I thought it was great and she seemed to have a blast. For me, the Reggio method just translated to my child coming home every day covered in paint, but she's 3 and that's par for the course. In the Fall, she'll be in the 3-day program plus Splendid Day and the gymnastics add-on.
As for the nursery drop off, I've used it a couple of times, but several of my friends use it religiously (no pun intended). All of the caregivers are wonderful and it's a great bang for your buck. My only critique would be that there isn't much in the way of stimulation for the little ones. They're mostly parked in swings or high chairs. Not that they can do much more when they're that young, I just prefer to take my girls to our gym because the caregivers are more interactive and it's the same price to me.
