3/6/9 month pics at studio? Recommendations?

Hi! I'd like to take the twins somewhere to get pictures at 3/6/9 months.  I'm not looking for an expensive professional photographer so much as a studio like Sears or Picture People etc but would take recommendations for either. I have a coupon for Sears and JC Penny studios but my husband isn't so keen on either place. I thought if we could get a good reccomendation from others we'd be able to go somewhere and get some nice pics done of the kids.  

We live in Silver Spring and don't want to drive too far just because we want the babies to be fed and happy when we arrive for the pictures!

I just got 6 month pics taken at JC Penney in Wheaton Plaza, and was very happy with them. I just picked them up last night and they are even better in person.

 I booked the appointment online and they called the day before to confirm. We went in on a Saturday and it was actually very quiet. The shoot took about 20 minutes and the photographer worked very fast to keep LO content. I normally hate pictures of myself and we actually got 2-3 pictures with me in it that I am happy with.

I used an online coupon and I thought the pricing was very reasonable, although I intended to only spend a certain amount and spent twice that because I liked so many of the pictures. We will go back for 9-month and holiday pictures, because it's so convenient, too.

We've done all of our portraits at The Picture People and think they do a great job.  There is often a coupon for the $18 big picture bundle that we use.

we had great success at portrait innovations in fair lakes, there is a wheaton location as well!!! if you have will power, you can make it out for 10 bucks...we tend to spend closer to 80 which I still don't think is bad and that gives us a ton of pics and  cd of everything!!
