I swear that Satan himself sent this toy to Earth just to torture me!  My sister got the girls this for their birthday.  There is no off switch and it often gets 'stuck' so it will repeat the same obnoxious sound over and over.   Do they all do this or have the forces of evil conspired against just me?  The problem is that my girls love it, and even if I 'hide it' they will find it and play with it for-ever.

I honestly think that the people who invent baby toys aren't parents themselves and that design infant clothes have never actually dressed a squirmy infant.

ITA. And I think we have the same ferris wheel thing! It used to go off when no one was even in the room-- CREEPY! I finally had to take the battery out.

I'm LOLing at this thread.

My friend described the voice actor for FP as "Satan's sister" because of the shrill voice.  I had to take the batteries out of a set of singing keys. (These https://www.amazon.com/Fisher-Price-Brilliant-Basics-Nursery-Rhyme/dp/B001IEYX5K  They were horrible.

Not only is this thing annoying as shiit, but it doesn't open easily once you shut it.  Now, I probably have dumb kids who can't figure it out, but I hear this 918729283742 times a day:

Then I have to rush over there and show them how to open it back up.  Seriously Vtech, make it easier to open!!!

Have you ever let the batteries run down in the seahorses?  It's terrifying.  We used to have them both going and I'd hear the damn thing in my head all day and night.  We had to take DS' out of his crib because it was too much fun so now I only have to hear DD's.

Have you seen this one?  So loud and annoying.  I don't think it lasted more than a month in our house before it got sold in a garage sale.  I feel sorry for the fool that bought it.

Agreed!  This thing goes off in the car all.the.time. when no one is touching it. I have no idea how.  And the cheery "good-bye" makes me want to throw it out the window.
