Ridge actually stayed dry overnight from 2 1/2 on. This was much easier for us than actual potty training. But in the last three or four weeks he is wetting the bed 2 or 3 times a week.
I don't want to crush his soul and put him in night time pullups but I also don't want to strip and wash his bed every other day...especially when the house is on the market.
Maybe he feels our stress? Maybe he is drinking more during the day because it is hot? We try not to give him any liquids at least an hour before bed. Has anyone else experienced this?
Re: Night time potty training reverting back?
It could be that his bladder growth just isn't keeping up with his body growth. I know my little brother suffered from a smaller than usual bladder as a young boy and wet the bed for a pretty good stretch from about 5-6 yrs. old. A doctor made the diagnosis. But eventually, his bladder caught up with the rest of him and he was fine! But, like you said, it could be any number of things making him do it: stress, sleeping too hard, changes in sleep patterns, etc.
Keep an eye on him for a while and limit his liquid intake before bed. If you don't see any improvement, you can always check things out with your pediatrician.
