I'm going through our baby clothes to prepare for #3 and sadly last baby. What did you do to save your child's coming home outfit or any other sentimental outfit? And on a side note, this is so sad to do.
Saying goodbye to such cute clothes and baby stage.
Re: Saving coming home outfits/sentimental outfits
I've got a bag of special stuff and a bag of cool t-shirt he loved. The shirts will be turned into a quilt one day.
my mom bought me a chest, looks like a treasure chest. sounds cheesy, but she suggested I put the little keepsake stuff. I like to throw things out, so i rarely save anything. but the chest is perfect for the little things i wanted to keep, like the hat both boys wore in the hospital my mom knitted, their medical bands from birth etc.
i have been thinking about you guys a lot and hoping everything is going smoothly with your remodel and ethans recovery!
Actually, I've been taking photos of my favorite outfits. For now, I'm keeping everything, but before I pack away my favs in the garage, I take photos of them and plan to have pages in her baby book with photos of my fav things (her first dress, my fav 0-3 month PJs, first jacket that she wore all winter, etc) and photos of her in the outfits if I have any.
It also helps me practice my photography skills.
