BFP but...

 Hello lovely 1st Tri ladies. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all, if not now then hopefully soon. 

After eight cycles of TTC I finally got the long awaited first BFP. I got a nice line on a wondfo, a rather light pink on a first response, and a "Pregnant" on a clear blue digi. I was in shock and dancing around the bathroom. DH came home from errands after what felt like forever, about an hour, haha. We decided to go out to lunch to celebrate.

During lunch I started cramping, when we got home I went to the bathroom and saw a fair amount of red blood. Oh what a roller coaster of a day. Anyway, I immediately called the nurse line at my doctor's office. Since it was after hours she just took down all of my information and symptoms and won't be able to talk to the doc until morning. She said if I start cramping extremely badly or going through a pad an hour go visit the ER. Otherwise she will let me know tomorrow if they will see me in the afternoon. 

Not exactly the ideal celebratory day I was imagining, but I guess only time will tell if this pregnancy is viable. I'm hoping to possibly get good news tomorrow and join you ladies here on 1st Tri with a little bit more confidence. :-)

    Thank you. Definitely easier said than done, but I am doing my best. The hubby and I treated ourselves to Harry Potter in IMAX 3D which was a welcome distraction. I know that no matter what there is nothing that I can do right now to change anything, nor will worrying help in the least. But its still really hard not to get super bummed and worried.   

    Oh and nice to meet you Katie? Nice name, haha (if I am assuming correctly)
