Diaper Rash with Milk Introduction

I've started adding whole milk into my daughter's diet this past week, and she's developed a nasty red diaper rash. She has always done well with yogurt, but she is pooping ALL THE TIME. She doesn't seem upset by the rash, so that's good, but I was just looking for similar experiences.

Tonight I cut back to all breast milk, so we'll see if that gets any better, but I've already dropped several pump sessions. I just didn't see the point of moving to formula for a month just to move again to whole milk. Huh...

TMI WARNING

DD had the same reaction when we introduced yogurt. Her poop was very soft and she got diaper rash really bad. Eventually it turned to total diarrhea--like liquid poop. (she had the same issue at 2 weeks old and it stopped when we switched her to sensitive formula) I'm lactose intolerant and while I know it's pretty uncommon for babies to be lactose intolerant, I think DD is. I only give her yogurt 1 time a week and, at the pedi's rec, I let it sit out for 30 min before giving it to her. Warmth helps break down the lactose and it seems to be irritating her less.

However, we plan to start milk next week and I"m worried. We were at the pedi yesterday bc DD wasn't feeling well and the Dr mentioned to start milk next week. He is not the dr we usually see in the practice and I didn't want to get into her milk issues and take up too much of his time, so I just said ok. My plan is to give WCM to her for a few days. If she gets diarrhea, I'm switching her to Lactaid WCM. We don't go for her 1 year well visit till Aug 10 so by then I'll know what's up with her and WCM and I can tell our reg pedi what I've been doing/what she's been experiencing.
