I'm looking to go to an OB or a regular dr for my annual appts. I went to a midwife for the birth of my son, and I don't think they do regular checkups (correct me if I'm wrong on that one). I do have PCOS and Endo, so I'd like a dr somewhat versed in infertility and possibly more natural treatments to both as we'll be TTC within the next year or two again. Any recommendations?

Re: Recommend YOUR dr
I would highly recommend Dr. Lisa Baker with OGI (Obstetrics, Gynecology and Infertility)
I've been a patient of her's for a few years now, and see her for my regular annual exams and physicals, as well as while we were TTC, through my m/c, and a high risk twin pg. She has been fantastic in all capacities, and many other doctors have spoke very highly of her.
While in the hospital on bed rest, I had the opportunity to meet all of the other docs while they rounded, and they were all fantastic as well. I didn't care for some of Dr. Czerniecki's, philosophies or bedside manner, but maybe we just didn't click personally.

I see Elizabeth Eckhardt at Fairview Riverside Women's Clinic/Fairview Highland Park. I really like her. I treated for PCOS/anovulation with her before getting pregnant. She went through fertility treatments herself, so it's nice to have someone who is sympathetic. I like having an OB who spends the time to address my questions, educate me about options, etc. and who respects my choices. I have also heard great things about the midwives at Fairview Riverside.
Good luck!
Thanks all. Preg amy & schmood - now I feel silly
I don't know why I thought they didn't. You'd think they'd say something after you had your baby.
steph - I am interested, especially if it's close, and your baby is ADORABLE.
Alisha - Thanks for the rec - I'm fairly certain they don't take my insurance, but I'll look into it again.
Kate - thanks to you too! That's nearby and sounds almost perfect.

I have an OB that I love, but it depends on where you are located.
He works out of Blaine and Brooklyn Park clinics. I don't know if that is out of your way or not.
