Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!
TTC #2
After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
My LP wasn't short, but I had lots of spotting leading up to my period and there was evidence of my progesterone and estrogen crashing partway through my LP (but after the standard 7DPO when they're usually checked) in at least one cycle, so the doctor thought my hormones were out of whack due to poor ovulation and inadequate corpus luteum production. or something like that. Anyway, when I was on progesterone in my LP after an unmedicated IUI I had NO spotting. When I did IVF and my hormones were regulated, I responded well despite my low ovarian reserve, and was very lucky to get pregnant on our first try.
Good luck! You may never get a proper explanation but if you can manage to try a few things and get pregnant you won't really care so much anymore about why it was happening.
