Thought I would share this "training" alarm clock for kids I heard about. The face has a picture of a rabbit sleeping and another with the rabbit going to school. You set it so that when it's OK for your child to get out of bed, the going to school rabbit is illuminated. This way, if your child wakes up at night or early in the morning, he/she can see that it's not time to get up yet, even if they can't tell time. I think that's awesome.
(Sorry my description isn't the best, but you'll understand it when you see it!)

Re: "Training" alarm clock for kids
We have the Good Nite Lite and Scott loves it!! It's a sun/moon that lights up either blue--the moon (still night time--don't get up) or yellow--the sun (it's OK to get up now). It has really helped him be more independent in the mornings. I'd definitely recommend it! I love these toddler alarm clocks thingys.
