The names are a good sibset- they are similar in style. The th on the end of Garreth sounds a little funny to me, but I don't hate it...people might think it's a typo for Garret, though.
Love Seraphina, Seraphine will most likely be our future daughter's name if she ever comes. My husband is pretty set on it, Garreth is nms Garrett would be my choice.
Im not a fan of Seraphina - but my name is Sara.. and it seems like something someone would call me while singing in song.. lol. But someone mentioned Seraphine and I like that! I also like Garret... not to sure bout Garreth! But who am I one to talk.. everyone on here hated my daughters name LOL
Where are you located? Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Garreth fairly common in the UK? I have no qualms about it, but be prepared to correct a lot of people.
Serephina is lovely. Not crazy about Berri, unless it has special meaning to you, as PP said.

I am in the Midwest, actually.
I didn't mention here, but Berri is after my DH's best friend.
I would agree for the most part, I like Garret too. I don't think DH likes it as much as Garreth, though... any way I could spell it to be a little more distinct that Garret?
Thanks for the feedback, didn't expect so much so fast :-)
I like Seraphina and Gareth (I prefer it with 1 r, but like the name). Gareth/Garreth is a fairly common name in the UK. I'm not sure about Berri--what is the significance of it for you?

DH's dear friend. It started as a joke when we promised to make our first baby after him & we thought it was kinda cut with Seraphina. We wanted the spelling to be more feminine than 'Barry', though.
I love Seraphina. We talked about Seraphina Lily, Seraphina Grey, or Seraphina Violet for DD. We didn't use it though; I think DH reconsidered when we shared the name with our family and they hated it.

This. Garreth just sounds off to me. Garrett is great though.
Isn't Garreth the name of the Goblin King from the Labyrinth?
I'm not a fan of Seraphina Berri, but I like Garreth (with or without the David Bowie reference)
EDIT - Nevermind, it's "Jareth" not "Garreth" lol
I prefer Garrett or maybe even Garth to Garreth.
Seraphina is pretty, just NMS.
I agree w/ pp ? Garreth West does not have a great flow. Garrett West sounds better.
Seraphina is nice.

Garreth?
Do you mean... Garret?
If this is akin to Jaythen rather than Jason, I'd say steer clear. Names that sound like speach impediments is never a good idea.
lol, Jareth was the Goblin King. I prefer Garrett.
Love seraphina....hate hate hate berri
Love Ryan not a fan of Garreth sounds like garret but with a lisp
agree with PP that Garreth just sounds like Garrett being said with a lisp.. Love both Ryan & Garrett tho
Seraphina is really pretty..
Isn't Garreth from Labyrinth?
I love Seraphina!
Ditto. Not a fan. Seraphina is a mouthful. Why does it make me think of a bottled beverage?
Seraphina Berri has a nice ring to it.. although i'm not a big fan of seraphina.. just sounds like a mouthful yah know?

I would prefer it spelled Gareth. I think there's a Gareth in the movie Four Weddings and a Funeral. It's NMS, but I think that spelling is better.
And I like Seraphina, although I'd probably spell Berry this way. The i seems a little too 80s valley girl (Tiffani, Stephani, etc.).
Thanks for the spelling pointers. DH & I were just discussing that. :-)

What about spelling Berri, Barrie instead. I've known two girls with this name.
