How far out were you PP when you had yours put in? And did you deliver vaginally or have a Cesarian?

I got mine at 8 weeks pp and had a c section. I was supposed to get it at 6 weeks, but had complications so my Dr recommended that I wait, he errors on the cautious side but I'm okay with that. I got the paraguard and had no pain, mild cramping for a few hours and mild spotting.

I got Mirena 8 weeks PP (vaginal delivery).  I could have gotten it sooner, but my MW was on vacation

I got the copper IUD about six weeks after my c-section.  Hurt like hell having it put in, but I haven't felt a thing since, so everything's good.

I had a c-section.  My doctor wanted me to wait at least 12 weeks PP.

My OB recommended waiting until 8-10 weeks post C-Section, I had Paragard put in at 10 weeks.  That was last Thursday. I had killer cramping while she was inserting it, but was fine once it was done.  I bled all weekend, but no other side effects.

I had a c/s and had a mirena put in today. My ob likes to wait until after your 6 week check up. And today just happened to be the day I could get it. It didn't really hurt that bad but I am cramping now. I took a 600mg motrin before the apt.
