So we're on vacation, and our routines are a little off. We had to go to someone else's house yesterday to wash our diapers, and then came back home to put them in the dryer. Well, DH threw our bag of powder detergent in with the bag of clean diapers on our way back, and it accidentally got thrown in the dryer with all the diapers. So now the diapers are all stiff and coated with detergent, ack!
So far my only idea is to just throw them in the washing machine on repeat until they stop sudsing, although this is a high-efficiency washer so it's not like there are a ton of suds anyway. Any other suggestions? Are the diapers ruined? Has this ever happened to anyone else before? Gah!
Re: laundry question (CD-related but I will take all advice)
TTC #1 Cycle 14 - IUI#1=BFN, IUI#2=BFP | TTC #2 Cycle 8=BFP!!

I would try throwing them in with an extra rinse cycle (or three) - I'm pretty sure our HE washer has an extra rinse option. What if you soaked the diapers for a while (assuming you have a bucket to soak them in) before trying the washer - that might help soften them so the washer could get more of the soap out?
GL. It would be such a shame if the diapers were really ruined.
If none of the above works, email Stephanie from Abbys Lane. She has helped answer all my CD-related questions. She is very helpful.

Ditto this. I have emailed her so many times and she is always helpful. She usually responds within 12 hours (I usually seem to email her late late at night and I have an email from her in the morning)
