Some of you may remember my post the other day about feeling a "bubbly" feeling in my vagina, as if something was going to fall out of my cervix. It had been going on a few days, so I finally decided to call my dr. to get reassurance. I did, and she told me I needed to come in right away. We heard the baby's heartbeat and then she did a manual exam. She said my cervix was long and closed, but very anterior.
She
sent me to the hospital right away to get an ultrasound with some
specialists saying it needed to be looked at and I might need a stitch. The Dr. at the hospital did the ultrasound and said I do have a very low cervix so I am going to feel pressure. She
said I am carrying the baby very low. She said she wasn't worried and
that I don't need a stitch. She does want to see me in three weeks for a
follow-up in addition to seeing my regular OBGYN. The bubbly feeling
is either pressure on the cervix or air going in and coming out.
