    Check the Ball canning website. I know water bath is only safe for certain foods and steam canners are considered unsafe.

    I was asking about the stove.  I only can water bath food because I don't have a pressure canner or a desire (I freeze it all).

    I have, when I had one. Check the manufacturer's info on your stove, but I never had any problems.
