For my first son I ended having a c-section due to the fact he was in distress and I wasn't dialating past 8 cm. So this time, I really want to try for a vaginal birth but my midwife thinks I should just go ahead with the c-section. Yea, they are quick but the aftermath for me was kinda bad. It made getting out of bed and walking up and down stairs difficult. My scar healed very well no scar tissue and you can barely see the incision line. I want to go for natural methods again but I'm just a little nervous, more nervous I think than with my son.

Re: Vbac and scared.
I had a similar experience--I was stuck at 9cm for 6hours before the csection, due to fetal distress. What are your midwife's reasons for encouraging a RCS? What type of midwife is she (there are different types: https://www.naturalbirthandbabycare.com/midwives.html) I had a CNM last time and she was very sterile, more nurse than midwife in my opinion. This time I have a CPM and she is very encouraging of a VBAC!
If you're not happy with your midwife, are there other options in your area? For me it would be worth interviewing other midwives and OBs to see if you can find one that is supportive!
