Ugh.....think DD is developing new allergies

The past two days her eyes have been blood shot red and she has a constant rash around her mouth. Normally she only gets the rash when she has injested dairy. I am giving her Zyrtec on a daily basis. I can't think of anything new she has eaten, so it is extremely frustrating!

She may also be reacting to something she had days prior..

maybe she picked something from the floor?

She currently is only allergic to dairy and some seasonal pollens. Normally the Zyrtec keeps the environmental allergies in check. I am home with her for the summer, so I know she is only eating things that are safe for her. We don't go back to the allergist again until December, but I may call her if DD's symptoms don't go away soon!

I would do a once over on your pantry / fridge. Manufacturers change ingredients sometimes. We learned this lesson recently when my DS suddenly had soy in his vitamins.

Good idea. I will read labels as I am preparing her meals tomorrow.

i agree.  That's how we found 2 packaged foods that had soybean oil in it.
