anyones lo's hate the bouncy chair?

my babies scream when i put them in the bouncy chair.  Is there a chance that they might change their minds about it later?  Is it maybe just to early for it?  DD will watch the lights on it for a minute before she screams.  Neither of them even attempt to play with the hanging toys.  I just feel very limited without it, all we have is the swing and playmat.

  • our girls didn't scream in the bouncies, but did NOT like them and always tried to wriggle out.  They never changed their minds....

    loved swings though:)

    good luck

  • I ended up giving mine to a friend because my son had zero interest in being in it. He never changed his mind. Like PP, he did end up loving the swing and the playmat, and eventually the bumbo (I used the separate tray piece and would put toys on it for him to play with).  I don't think hanging out to it is unreasonable though - you never know if they might change their minds!

  • Mine hated it, so we got rid of it and got another swing.  They LOVED their swings.
  • So far, I can't either of my girls to sit in it longer then a few minutes.

  • Mine hated the bouncy seat and the swing. The day they could sit in an exersaucer (and like it!) was the happiest day of my life, LOL.

  • I guess my DS was weird he loved the bouncer and hated the swing with a passion. I would hang on to them if have room and try again in a few weeks.
