Would you call OB?

I am 6ish weeks pregnant with my second.  I have been having pain in my right side off and on since friday.  Sometimes its more severe, other times just dull.  I had an ectopic before I had my son, but I don't really remember the pain bc it started to hurt around noon that time and I found out around 2pm and then it was kind of a blur.  I have already had my initial appt and the dr said everything felt good when he did an exam and I have a u/s next Thursday. Would you just wait until your u/s or call dr?  I don't want to bother them with anything unnecessary or stupid.

If you haden't had an ectopic pregnancy in the past I would say "no" don't call.  In your case I would let them know how  you are feeling and leave it up to them to decide if you need to been seen earlier than Thursday.  Good luck, I hope it's nothing to worry about!

I had an ectopic last year and my OBGYN said if I was ever pregnant again they would always do an early ultrasound to confirm it was not ectopic bc your risks of having ectopics go up after you have had 1.  So I was instructed to call them as soon as I realized I was pregnant.  I would definitely call and get an early ultrasound.  Goodluck!

Yes, I'd call.  I'm sure they'll want to see you sooner than next Thursday given your history.  Good luck!
