I just wanted to thank all of the ladies who replied to my post. First off, I got so many positive "hang in there" comments, I really think I can keep these babies inside for a few more weeks. If they cooperate, that is. I really do know, even before you all told me, that the longer I can keep the cooking, the better. I felt so selfish for thinking that I was just about ready to be done already. But now I feel much more positive. I can do this! Second, a handful of you asked if I could just stop working. Yes, I could. My doctor said he won't take me out of work unless there is a medical reason to, which I have had none so far. Since I'm having no issues, he is leaving it up to me. I did get a note from him a couple weeks ago to cut back my hours at my discretion, I'm coming in to work a few hours late on Fridays. I start the week out so strong but by the end of the week, I just can't work the whole day. The thing is, I don't want to take a significant amount of time off before the babies are born because that cuts into my time off with them after. As long as I'm feeling okay, I'd really like to keep working. My doctor says he'll take out of work completely when/if I'm ready, I just have to tell him. I'm just not ready yet. I'm thinking that if I'm still PG past 37 weeks, maybe I'll cut my hours more, maybe completely. We'll just have to see.
Sorry about the long rambling post. I really just wanted to thank you all for your positive replies. You are such a great motivation and such amazing women. I'm so proud to be a MoM!!
Re: Thank you MoMs of 35-37 weekers!!
You are welcome - that's what we are here for!
Hang in there - I was just thinking how hot and miserable I was a year ago and all I was doing was laying on the couch baking babies. I can't imagine working and having a toddler on top of it all.
Hugs - you are almost there!
